Job summary

Brisbane Boys’ College is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a small, support-focused team delivering technology and infrastructure services across the College community. You will manage server and network infrastructure, act as an escalation point, and assist IT Infrastructure Architect with project delivery.

You will work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality, client-focused technology services and be available for out-of-hours work on project and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in service desk operations and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft stack: AD, Exchange, Intune.
• Experience with Nutanix virtualization and Fortinet security is advantageous.
• Ability to support enterprise class infrastructure in medium to large environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated incidents and service requests.
• Mentor junior technology services staff.
• Collaborate to deliver high-quality client-focused services.
• Participate in out-of-hours work for projects and operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and safe work practices.
