Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT services MSP environments.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with: Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory / Entra ID, DNS and Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune.
• Experience across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support and project implementation across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and VMware environments.
• Act as Level 2/3 escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Support technology migrations, upgrades and infrastructure projects.

We're seeking a hands‑on Systems Engineer to join our IT Services team for a 6‑month contract, supporting enterprise customer environments and critical technology projects. Systems Engineer (Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure)

6-Month Contract | Immediate Start | Parramatta (3 Days Onsite)

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our technical delivery team, you'll provide advanced support, project implementation, and technical expertise across a broad range of technologies, including:

• Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments

• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy

• Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management

• Windows Autopilot and modern workplace solutions

• VMware infrastructure

You’ll also:

• Act as a Level 2/3 escalation point for complex technical issues.

• Support technology migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.

• Ensure customer environments remain secure, available, and high performing.

About You

We're looking for an experienced infrastructure professional who thrives in customer-facing environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

Essential Experience

• 7+ years' experience in the IT services industry, ideally within an MSP environment.

• Minimum 4 years' hands‑on experience supporting:Microsoft AzureWindows ServerActive Directory / Entra IDDNS and Group PolicyMicrosoft 365Microsoft Intune

• Experience supporting cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

Technical Skills

• Azure administration, including servers and VPN gateways.

• Microsoft 365 administration.

• Endpoint management and compliance.

• VMware administration.

• Modern workplace technologies.

• Infrastructure and security best practices.

Certifications

Required (or equivalent experience):

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.

Highly Regarded:
