Systems Engineer – Azure / Microsoft 365
Initial 3-Month Contract | Perth | Azure Cloud Environment We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise across Microsoft Azure, Intune and Microsoft 365 to join a Technical Services Delivery team supporting a large-scale cloud environment.

This role will focus on the administration, implementation, deployment and ongoing improvement of Azure and Microsoft 365 services, while providing senior‑level technical support and resolving escalated infrastructure and cloud issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and support Microsoft Intune, including endpoint and device management
• Implement, deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Configure and support Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Office 365
• Administer and maintain OneDrive and other Microsoft cloud services
• Manage SCCM patch management
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated cloud, infrastructure and application issues
• Support and improve the organisation’s broader IT infrastructure
• Contribute to cloud design, BAU activities and scheduled project work
• Identify opportunities to improve the performance, reliability and maturity of the environment

Essential Experience

• Minimum 5+ years’ Systems Engineering experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Intune
• Proven experience implementing and deploying Azure services
• Strong knowledge of core Microsoft Azure technologies and services
• Demonstrated configuration experience across Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS Teams and Office 365
• Experience with SCCM patch management
• Strong experience supporting, maintaining and improving enterprise IT infrastructure
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and time‑management skills

Desirable

Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Forms, Yammer/Viva Engage, Citrix and Red Hat Linux would be advantageous.
