Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an ICT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or closely related position.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with users, stakeholders, developers, and other technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with users to gather, define, and document business requirements.
• Reviewing and analysing existing business processes, procedures, and work practices to identify areas for improvement.
• Identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending effective business practices, system functionality, and process improvements.
• Applying project management methodologies and techniques to develop project plans, estimate costs, allocate resources, and oversee project delivery.
• Managing the implementation of functional solutions, including the development and execution of system testing plans to ensure system quality, reliability, and integrity.
• Preparing user manuals, training materials, and other documentation, as well as delivering formal training to users.
• Developing detailed functional specifications to guide system developers in designing and implementing software solutions.
• Applying data and process modelling techniques to develop clear and comprehensive system specifications for software design and development.
• Acting as a key source of information and guidance, supporting stakeholders and project teams in system-related decision-making and implementation processes.
• Providing remote systems analysis, troubleshooting and technical support from the Brisbane office to company employees and clients operating across different locations.
• Coordinating and collaborating with offshore teams to ensure seamless communication, alignment on project objectives, and effective delivery of technical solutions.
