Job summary

NEXT WEB PTY. LTD. is seeking an ICT Business and Systems Analyst to collaborate with stakeholders, analyse requirements, and deliver technology solutions that boost efficiency and performance.

You will work across business processes, data, and integrations to support ongoing digital transformation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years' experience in a relevant analyst role, with strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum two years' experience as ICT/Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Knowledge of business process modelling techniques.
• Experience with SQL, databases and reporting tools desirable.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong documentation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Desirable ERP/CRM or enterprise software exposure.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power BI or BI tools.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and API integrations.
• Experience in digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders to identify business needs and system requirements.

• Document and validate functional and technical requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, process maps, user stories, and specs.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs and vendors to implement solutions.
• Perform system testing, UAT and QA activities.
• Assist with system integration, deployment and support.
• Analyse data and prepare reports for decision-making.
• Develop user docs, training materials and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Monitor system performance and propose ongoing improvements.
• Ensure solutions comply with policies and security standards.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and analytical ICT Business and Systems Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, analyse existing systems, and deliver technology solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders to identify business needs and system requirements.
• Analyse current business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.
• Gather, document and validate functional and technical requirements.
• Prepare business requirement documents, process maps, user stories and functional specifications.
• Work closely with software developers, project managers and third-party vendors to implement solutions.
• Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities.
• Assist with system integration, deployment and post-implementation support.
• Analyse data and prepare reports to support business decision-making.
• Develop user documentation, training materials and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation.
• Monitor system performance and recommend ongoing improvements.
• Ensure solutions comply with organisational policies, security requirements and industry best practices.

Skills & Experience
