Job summary

BD is seeking a Territory Manager for Hernia Solutions in South Australia and the Northern Territory. You will work closely with surgeons and theatre teams to drive adoption of BD’s market-leading hernia repair and soft tissue reconstruction portfolio.

Expect to spend ~80% of time in theatre, supporting procedures and building trusted relationships across hospitals. You will lead territory plans, identify opportunities, and deliver strong results while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven success in medical device sales, ideally within a surgical environment.
• Operating theatre experience and confidence supporting surgical procedures.
• Strong territory management and business planning capability.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of BD's Hernia and Soft Tissue Reconstruction portfolio across SA and NT.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, perioperative nurses and key hospital stakeholders.
• Provide in-theatre product support, education and clinical expertise.
• Develop and execute territory plans aligned to business objectives.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
• Expand existing accounts while uncovering new avenues for growth.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights and sales performance to maximise results.
• Support product evaluations and clinical assessments.
• Manage consignment accounts and optimise product utilisation.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, account planning and CRM management.
• Partner closely with internal teams to maximise territory performance.
