Job summary

Housing Choices Australia seeks a Supportive Housing Team Leader to lead Common Ground Adelaide, delivering Housing First led services and coordinated care. You will manage a team of frontline workers, supervise casework, and drive outcomes aligned with tenancy sustainability.

The role requires trauma-informed practice, strong leadership and a commitment to inclusive, person-centred service delivery for residents experiencing homelessness.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a social/d human services field or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams in complex service delivery settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Common Ground Adelaide services to ensure safe, responsive delivery.
• Provide line management, recruitment, induction, performance planning and review.
• Oversee casework supervision, workload, and staff wellbeing with professional development.
• Govern service activity against targets, KPIs and program priorities.
• Ensure housing first principles and trauma-informed, strengths-based practice are applied.
• Monitor compliance, risk, health and safety, and quality standards.
