We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Support Worker to assist participants with their daily living and community-access needs.
Available Shifts
The successful applicant must be available for:
- Mondays: 6:30 am-9:30 am- supporting a participant with a spinal cord injury in a 2:1 support environment
- Mondays: 2:00 pm-5:00 pm- supporting a second participant
- Fortnightly Tuesdays: 11:00 am-2:00 pm
There may also be opportunities for additional shifts.
Mandatory Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Manual Handling and Infection Control training, or willingness to complete
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Right to work in Australia

Key Responsibilities
- Provide respectful personal care and daily-living assistance
- Assist with manual handling and hoist transfers when required
- Support participants with mobility, appointments, and community access
- Follow individual support plans and risk assessments
- Maintain clear and professional communication with participants, families, and the support team
- Complete shift notes and incident reports as required
- Work collaboratively with other support workers and service providers
Skill & Experience
- Previous disability support experience is preferred
- Experience supporting participants with spinal cord injuries is highly regarded
- Manual handling and hoist experience is desirable
- Calm, patient, respectful, and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to regular shifts
