Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Mermaid Waters is seeking a Disability Support Worker to join #TeamPossible in our L&L Facility. Casual opportunities available between 8-3pm, with varied days and meaningful impact on lives of people with disability.

The role focuses on person-centred support, daily living skills, and community participation, with a team-driven, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• You’ll also need, or be willing to obtain, the relevant screening and compliance checks, First Aid and CPR, and hold an open driver’s licence with comprehensive vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people to develop everyday living skills including cooking, housekeeping, budgeting and social skills.
• Providing person-centred support, including personal care where required.
• Supporting community participation through activities and social connections.
• Helping people maintain meaningful relationships with family, friends and support services.
• Supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern in a calm, respectful and professional manner.
