Working across our Learning and Lifestyle Centre and Community Access supports in Bowen Hills and surrounding suburbs, you will assist people with disabilities to participate in flexible learning programs, recreation, social activities and community-based supports aligned to their NDIS goals.
You will support clients through a range of activities designed to build confidence, independence and practical life skills, while encouraging community participation, learning and relationship building. Activities may include cooking, arts and crafts, sports, appointments, social outings and connecting with nature. No two days will be the same - you may hear that phrase a lot but here at Endeavour Foundation, you will see it in action!
Our ideal candidate is a calm, compassionate, and professional Disability Support Worker with experience supporting individuals with complex support needs and behaviours of concern. You will be confident providing personal care and supporting daily living tasks while creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. The ability to remain calm under pressure, respond appropriately to challenging situations, and build trusting relationships is essential for success in this role.
