Job summary

Ruah invites applications for a full-time Support Coordinator to join the Wongee Mia team in Northbridge. You will work directly with Aboriginal clients to support housing stability, wellbeing and recovery outcomes, coordinating supports, facilitating groups and advocating on their behalf.

You will collaborate with Elders, family, and partners, delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive services and contributing to a strengths-based model of care.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, AOD use, or family/domestic violence
• Strong case management, advocacy and support coordination skills
• Ability to build trusting, strengths-based relationships with clients and their networks
• Experience developing person-centred recovery or support plans
• Well-developed report writing and documentation
• Advanced computer skills and client management systems
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Experience mentoring or guiding other staff
• Understanding of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practice
• Commitment to Ruah's vision, mission and values
