Job summary

Gamuda Australia is seeking an experienced Supervisor for the Richmond Road Upgrade project in north-west Sydney. You will lead on-site civil works, coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to deliver works safely and to the required quality.

Working with Project Engineers and the broader team, you will plan sequence works, monitor progress, manage interfaces and maintain thorough site records to support programme delivery.

Gamuda Engineering is a leading engineering and construction contractor specialising in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of transport, civil and energy infrastructure projects.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Richmond Road Upgrade project. This is a hands‑on site-based role responsible for supervising and coordinating daily construction activities across civil works, utilities, roads, traffic and pavements.

Working closely with the Project Engineers, subcontractors and wider project team, you will help ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, to the required quality and in line with the project programme.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities, including labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Plan and sequence works to support programme delivery, monitor progress and proactively address site issues.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to the required quality and environmental standards, driving a positive site culture.
• Work collaboratively with Project Engineers, subcontractors and site teams to coordinate interfaces and achieve project outcomes.
• Maintain site records and provide updates on progress, productivity and construction issues.

Your Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Supervisor on major infrastructure projects, ideally within road construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site coordination and programme delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate subcontractors and work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
