Job summary

Gamuda Australia is seeking an experienced Structures Supervisor to join the Richmond Road Upgrade project. This hands-on, site-based role will supervise and coordinate structural construction activities, including the delivery of a new flyover bridge, working closely with Project Engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality.

Gamuda Engineering is a leading engineering and construction contractor specialising in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of transport, civil and energy infrastructure projects.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structures Supervisor to join our Richmond Road Upgrade project. This is a hands-on, site-based role responsible for supervising and coordinating structural construction activities, including the delivery of a new flyover bridge.

Working closely with the Project Engineers, subcontractors and wider project team, you will help ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, to the required quality and in line with the project programme.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities, including labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Plan and sequence works to support programme delivery, monitor progress and proactively address site issues.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to the required quality and environmental standards, driving a positive site culture.
• Work collaboratively with Project Engineers, subcontractors and site teams to coordinate interfaces and achieve project outcomes.
• Maintain site records and provide updates on progress, productivity and construction issues.

Your Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Supervisor on major infrastructure projects, ideally within road construction.
• Experience across bridge construction, structural concrete or similar civil structures would be highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site coordination and programme delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate subcontractors and work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
