Job summary

Ace Earthmoving Limited is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor in Victoria to coordinate and supervise site activities, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of civil projects, with a focus on road rehabilitation. The role is based in Morwell, VIC.

You will lead crews, subcontractors and equipment, read plans, manage daily works, and ensure WHS and quality compliance on site. Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience required, with a current White Card and Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve site issues to keep projects on track

Job description

As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a strong background in civil construction, particularly road rehabilitation projects to take responsibility for the successful day-to-day delivery of works on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating employees, subcontractors and plant on site
• Managing daily construction activities and ensuring works are completed in accordance with project drawings
• Supervising road rehabilitation and general civil construction works
• Coordinating plant, materials and labour requirementsConducting pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections
• Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements
• Liaising with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors and suppliers
• Identifying and resolving site issues to keep projects running efficiently

About you

• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil construction
• Previous experience in a Site Supervisor or similar leadership role
• Strong experience in road rehabilitation works
• Sound knowledge of civil construction methods, machinery and site operations
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage crews, subcontractors and competing site priorities
• Current Australian Driver Licence and Construction Industry White Card
