Job summary

Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) seeks a Regional Support Officer for the Sunshine Coast to provide essential administrative support and advice to the Sunshine Coast Branch. The role collaborates with regional staff, committees, volunteers and surf clubs to facilitate day-to-day operations and regional events.

The role is fixed term, casual or part-time (up to 25 hours per week) to cover parental leave until end of February 2027, with benefits including Salary Packaging, Fitness Passport, EAP

Qualifications

• Experience providing efficient and accurate administrative support to a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to regional team members to ensure effective operation of the Sunshine Coast Branch.
• Provide administration support and advice to Sunshine Coast Branch Committees, Office Bearers and Clubs.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, letters, memorandums, circulars, and agendas.
• Assist with preparing and collating reports, statistics and other administrative information for reporting requirements.
• Support coordination and delivery of regional events, workshops and training sessions.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, volunteers and key stakeholders.
