Job summary

Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) on the Sunshine Coast seeks a Regional Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Sunshine Coast Branch. The role involves assisting regional staff, committees and clubs, and helping deliver regional events and training.

This fixed-term opportunity is casual or part-time (up to 25 hours per week) until February 2027, with benefits including salary packaging, Fitness Passport, EAP, and onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Experience providing efficient and accurate administrative support to a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to prepare clear, timely reports and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the regional team to ensure smooth Sunshine Coast Branch operations.
• Support committees, office bearers and clubs with administrative tasks and advice.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, memoranda, circulars, and agendas.
• Assist with compiling reports and statistics for branch reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and help deliver regional events, workshops and training sessions.
• Build positive relationships with staff, volunteers and key stakeholders.
