Job summary

Degnan Group is seeking an experienced Submissions Manager to join the NSW business. Degnan is a well-established Australian infrastructure contractor delivering rail, transport and broader infrastructure projects in NSW.

You will own high-quality tender submissions and support major bids, EOIs and proposals, working closely with NSW leadership and pre-contracts teams to position Degnan for future opportunities and drive success across submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Submissions/Bid Manager role in construction, civil infrastructure or rail preferred.
• Excellent written communication and document management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with a commercial understanding of tender processes.
• Ownership from planning through to final delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end submissions across tenders, EOIs and proposals.
• Develop clear, compelling and tailored written submissions.
• Coordinate input from estimating, delivery, commercial and senior leadership teams.
• Manage submission programmes, deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Review and improve bid content, presentations and supporting documentation.
• Maintain tender collateral, project experience, CVs and submission libraries.
• Support the wider pre-contracts team across strategic bids and major opportunities.

Degnan Group is looking to appoint an experienced Submissions Manager to join the NSW business.

Degnan is an established Australian infrastructure contractor with a strong track record delivering complex projects across the rail, transport and broader infrastructure sectors. With an expanding portfolio of projects and a strong pipeline of opportunities across NSW, the business continues to grow its capability across both project delivery and pre-contracts.

Working closely with the NSW leadership and pre-contracts teams, the Submissions Manager will play a key role in positioning Degnan for future opportunities, taking ownership of high-quality tender submissions and supporting the business through major bids, EOIs and proposals.

The role will include:

• Managing the end-to-end submissions process across tenders, EOIs and proposals
• Developing clear, compelling and tailored written submissions
• Coordinating input from estimating, delivery, commercial and senior leadership teams
• Managing submission programmes, deadlines and compliance requirements
• Reviewing and improving bid content, presentations and supporting documentation
• Maintaining tender collateral, project experience, CVs and submission libraries
• Supporting the wider pre-contracts team across strategic bids and major opportunities

About you:

• Previous experience in a Submissions Manager, Bid Manager or similar role
• Strong background within construction, civil infrastructure or rail preferred
• Excellent written communication and document management skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines
• Strong attention to detail with a commercial understanding of the tender process
• Comfortable taking ownership of submissions from initial planning through to final delivery
