Job summary

Tintern Grammar in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Student Wellbeing Coach (Secondary School) to support students through individual and small group coaching, building resilience and positive relationships.

You will work with pastoral staff to deliver wellbeing programs, early interventions, and confidential record-keeping, focusing on prevention and student-centred strategies within a term-time, full-time framework starting Term 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or Counselling with current registration/membership.
• Experience building positive relationships with young people.
• Knowledge of student wellbeing and mandatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, strengths-based coaching to students individually and in small groups.
• Contribute to wellbeing programs, workshops and initiatives within the School.
• Focus on prevention and early intervention, identify needs, facilitate referrals and maintain confidential records.
