Victorian Government is seeking a wellbeing professional for a FE 0.8 position at a Melbourne secondary college. The role focuses on developing and implementing wellbeing programs and providing counselling to students with complex needs.

You will coordinate with staff, families and DET to manage cases, maintain confidential records and deliver targeted wellbeing training across the college community.

Qualifications

• SC3: counselling/therapeutic skills with secondary aged students.
• SC4: ability to work in a team to implement policies and proactive programs.
• SC5: excellent communication and confidential record-keeping.

Responsabilités

• Provide input in developing wellbeing programs and policy with primary prevention.
• Coordinate with staff, students, parents and DET to manage complex cases.
• Provide counselling, risk assessments and advocacy for at-risk youth.
• Develop and deliver wellbeing trainings and maintain case notes.
• Maintain networks with youth and community agencies for access to services.
• Work with Student Support Services team and report to senior management.
