Job summary

South West TAFE is seeking a Student Success Coordinator at the Warrnambool Campus. The role provides operational leadership for the Student Success Program, coordinating delivery, quality, reporting and continuous improvement of early intervention activity to boost retention, completion and wellbeing.

Working with substantial independence, you will interpret risk information, set priorities, supervise three Retention Officers and make decisions about intervention and resource deployment to

Qualifications

• Must have qualifications in student support, careers, education, case management or related field with substantial experience.
• Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Records Check required.
• Current Victorian Driver License required.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery, quality, reporting and improvement of early intervention activity.
• Interpret student risk information and set priorities for interventions.
• Supervise three Retention Officers and allocate resources.
• Make judgement-based decisions about intervention, referral and escalation.
• Focus on students at risk of disengagement during early training stages.
