Job summary

North Metropolitan TAFE is seeking a Wellbeing Officer to provide proactive and responsive wellbeing support to students across multiple campuses, promoting safety, inclusion and engagement through early intervention and coordinated referrals.

You will assess wellbeing needs, assist with crisis response and support staff in managing student wellbeing concerns, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with mental health and wellbeing concerns.
• Ability to assess wellbeing needs and coordinate referrals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive wellbeing support to students across multiple campuses, promoting safety, inclusion and engagement.
• Assess wellbeing needs and facilitate appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate with staff and external service providers to support students and navigate barriers to learning.
