Job summary

The University of Western Australia invites applications for a part-time Student Services Officer (0.6 FTE) on a fixed-term basis until 1 March 2027. Provide professional advice to current and prospective students, manage complex enquiries and maintain accurate student records.

You will collaborate across the University to support student outcomes, with a pro-rata salary of AU$86,540–AU$95,920 plus 17% superannuation. Flexible working options and generous leave are offered.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in administration, student services, customer service or a comparable advisory environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently manage complex enquiries and build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice, support and guidance to current and prospective students, helping them navigate enrolment, course planning, progression and university processes.
• Deliver high-quality student administration services, manage complex enquiries, maintain accurate student records, and contribute to continuous improvement of systems, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with academic and professional staff across the University to support positive student outcomes and an exceptional student experience.
