You will coordinate student volunteers, host advisory sessions, refer students to support services, and lead large-scale events and multiple orientations, often within a single week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event coordination or project management in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle deadlines and deliver multiple major events in close succession.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to improve systems, processes, and workflows.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and complex student matters with sensitivity, professionalism, and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating detailed event logistics such as catering, room bookings, communications, and presentations—often managing multiple events simultaneously.
• Delivering large-scale orientation sessions and presenting key information to new student cohorts.
• Preparing and leading the development of the weekly student newsletter to keep students informed and engaged.
• Training and supporting Student Leaders to ensure they are confident and well-prepared for upcoming events.
• Troubleshooting operational issues quickly and efficiently during fast-moving event periods.
