Job summary

University of Technology Sydney is seeking an Employability Coordinator to design and deliver inclusive, student-centred employability initiatives. You will collaborate across focus areas, curate digital content, and drive engaging career development activities for diverse cohorts.

The role is full-time, hybrid with a mix of on-campus and work-from-home days, and supports flexible work practices and international opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and facilitating workshops or interactive events.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including developing, reviewing or updating career development resources.
• Experience providing support to students or similar demographics through consultations, focus groups or one-to-one conversations.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload.
• Well-developed relationship management skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the university.

Responsibilities

• Mapping existing initiatives, resources, and support within the focus area to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Coordinating and delivering tailored employability initiatives that support career development in specific focus area.
• Facilitating workshops, panel events, and other career development initiatives that are inclusive and engaging.
• Supporting the delivery of key events and campaigns in collaboration with the broader UTS Careers team.
• Developing and updating career development resources to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
• Curating digital content and learning journeys guiding students through career topics.
• Collaborating with subject matter experts to keep content relevant and up to date.
