Western Sydney University Student Union is seeking a Student Clubs Officer to join the Student Engagement team. You will support the growth, sustainability and operation of student clubs and societies across Western Sydney University, offering practical guidance on governance, funding, events and compliance.

You will coordinate affiliation, renewals and funding programs, deliver training and resources, and build productive relationships with students and staff to promote inclusive, sustainable

Qualificações

• A relevant degree with experience in community development, education, business, management or student services, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or developing student clubs, community organisations, membership groups, volunteer-led initiatives or student engagement programs.
• Knowledge of governance, policy compliance, risk assessment and event management within an education, community or not-for-profit environment.
• Strong organisational and program coordination skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to advise and support a diverse range of student leaders.
• A passion for student development, leadership and building inclusive communities that foster connection and belonging.

Responsabilidades

• Support the growth, sustainability and operation of student clubs and societies across Western Sydney University.
• Provide governance, compliance, funding, events and operational guidance to club executives and student leaders.
• Coordinate club affiliation and renewal processes and administer funding programs.
• Develop and deliver training, resources and communication initiatives for club leaders.
• Establish relationships with students, staff and diverse communities and monitor participation, compliance and funding outcomes.
