Western Sydney University Student Union seeks a proactive Student Clubs Officer to support the growth, sustainability and operation of student clubs across Western Sydney University. You will guide governance, funding programs, and club affiliation, helping leaders build inclusive, active communities on campus.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant degree with experience in community development, education, business, management or student services, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or developing student clubs, community organisations, membership groups, volunteer‑led initiatives or student engagement programs.
• Knowledge of governance, policy compliance, risk assessment and event management within an education, community or not‑for‑profit environment.
• Strong organisational and program coordination skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to advise and support a diverse range of student leaders.
• A passion for student development, leadership and building inclusive communities that foster connection and belonging.

Aufgaben

• Provide governance guidance, compliance, funding and operational support to student clubs and societies.
• Coordinate club affiliation and renewal processes and administer funding programs.
• Develop and deliver training, resources and communication initiatives for club leaders.
• Establish productive relationships with students, staff and stakeholders across diverse communities.
• Maintain accurate records, analyse participation, compliance and funding outcomes, and prepare reports.
