Job summary

Promax Brisbane Pty Ltd is seeking a Structures Supervisor / Foreman for high-rise residential projects on the Gold Coast. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will supervise, coordinate and deliver structural works safely, on time and to quality standards, working with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.

You should have proven experience in structures foreman or supervisor roles, strong reinforced concrete knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and manage large site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Structures Foreman or similar role.
• High-rise residential or commercial experience, preferably 10 storeys or greater.
• Strong reinforced concrete knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret structural/architectural drawings.
• Experience managing large site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and coordination of all structural trades and subcontractors.
• Management of formwork, reinforcement, concrete and post-tensioning works.
• Coordination of concrete pours and inspections.
• Crane operations, lifting requirements and site logistics.
• Reading and interpreting structural drawings, specifications and documentation; managing daily/weekly programmes and look-ahead planning.
• Monitoring subcontractor performance, productivity and manpower.
• Pre-pour inspections and readiness for concrete placement.
• QA requirements, ITPs, inspections and construction documentation.
• Identifying and resolving structural coordination issues to keep the programme on track.

Structures Supervisor / Structures Foreman – High-Rise Residential

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination and delivery of the structural works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to maintain productivity and ensure the structural programme remains on track.

Key responsibilities

• Supervision and coordination of all structural trades and subcontractors
• Management of formwork, reinforcement, concrete and post-tensioning works
• Coordination of concrete pours and associated inspections
• Coordination of crane operations, lifting requirements and site logistics
• Reviewing and interpreting structural drawings, specifications and construction documentationManaging daily and weekly structural programmes and short-term look-ahead planning
• Monitoring subcontractor performance, productivity and manpower
• Conducting pre-pour inspections and ensuring works are ready prior to concrete placement
• Managing QA requirements, ITPs, inspections and relevant construction documentation
• Identifying and resolving structural coordination issues before they impact the programme

About you

• Proven experience as a Structures Foreman, Structures Supervisor or similar position
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-rise residential or commercial structures, preferably 10 storeys or greater
• Strong experience with reinforced concrete construction
• Excellent knowledge of formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement and post-tensioning
• Previous experience managing structural subcontractors and large site teams
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programming
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
