Job summary

Core Talent seeks an experienced Structures Foreman for a major project in Sydney's inner south. You will lead day‑to‑day structural works, coordinating concrete, formwork and reinforcement with subcontractors and site teams, while ensuring safety and quality across the programme.

You will work closely with Site Managers and Project Engineers to maintain schedule integrity and manage short‑term programming, with a hands‑on approach and strong attention to detail on a $100M+ project.

Qualifications

• Major project delivery experience on large-scale constructions.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of structural sequencing and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day structural works from mobilisation through to completion.
• Supervise subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate concrete, formwork, reinforcement and related trades.
• Manage daily site activities, sequencing and short-term programming.
• Ensure works conform to drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Structures Foreman to join a national Tier 2 contractor and helplead a major project in Sydney's inner south

This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of structural delivery on a significant project, working alongside an experienced Project Manager and Site Management team within a well-established, high performing builder.

The Role:

As Structures Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of structural works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will be involved across:

• Managing structural works from mobilisation through to completion
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Coordinating concrete, formwork, reinforcement and associated structural trades
• Managing daily site activities, sequencing and short-term programming
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements
• Coordinating with Site Managers, Project Engineers, subcontractors and consultants
• Managing site safety and ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Identifying and resolving construction issues before they impact programme
• Maintaining a strong focus on quality, productivity and programme

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience delivering major projects valued at $100M+
• Strong structural construction experience across commercial, residential or mixed-use projects
• Previous experience working for a Tier 2 or comparable builder
• Strong knowledge of concrete, formwork, reinforcement and structural sequencing
• Ability to confidently manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades
• Strong understanding of construction programmes and site logistics
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Relevant construction qualifications or trade background
