Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Foreman to join the site team on a high-profile advanced manufacturing and technology facility in the Western Sydney Aerotropolis. You will supervise structural works from substructure to the main building, coordinating concrete, steel and associated trades while managing sequencing and day-to-day site activity.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a strong structures background from a reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder.

The Role

You will join the site team delivering a high-profile advanced manufacturing and technology facility within the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.

• Supervising structural works from substructure through to the main building structure
• Coordinating concrete, structural steel and associated structural trades
• Managing sequencing, programme and day-to-day site activities
• Coordinating structural interfaces with façade, services and specialist areas
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring works meet programme and quality requirements
• Reviewing drawings and resolving site and constructability issues
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and site presentation
• Working closely with the Site Manager, engineers and project delivery team

About You

You will be an experienced Foreman with a strong structures background gained with a reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial builder.

• Proven experience delivering structural packages on major commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete and structural steel construction
• Experience on technically complex projects such as defence, health, data centres, laboratories, industrial or advanced manufacturing would be highly regarded
• Strong subcontractor management and programming skills
• The ability to coordinate complex structural, services and façade interfaces
• A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to quality and safety
