Job summary

Contec Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced structures foreman to join a high-profile $110M institutional project in Brisbane's eastern suburbs. The role requires leading trades in an EBA environment, coordinating piling, foundations, basements, and tower structures, with a focus on safety and sequence planning.

You will ensure SWMS and OHS compliance across steel, concrete and formwork, conduct weekly safety walks, and manage look-ahead programs with subcontractors, using Aconex for

Qualifications

• Experience managing trades in an EBA environment.
• Proven ability to manage split package structure sites including piling, foundations, basement works, main tower and towers.
• Strong focus on safety, SWMS and OHS compliance.
• Experience with pre-pour inspections and weekly subcontractor walks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site establishment and sequencing for all structural trades.

We are proud to be partnering with one of Austalia's largest construction contractors who deliver landmark projects across government, health, institutional, civil and commercial industries. Their projects are nationally-renowned and include both government and private sector clients and can surpass $1B in scale. They will be a major contributor to building South East Queensland's Olympic and Health infrastructure

There is a current requirement for an experienced structures foreman to join the project team on a $110M institutional project in Brisbane's eastern suburbs that will contribute to the newly created infrastructure supporting to upcoming Olympics.

Suitable candidates will have a background managing trades in an EBA environment and be able to demonstrate the following:-

• Full experience across Split package structure -site establishment, piling/foundations, basement dig, basement structure, main tower structure and tower crane
• Ensuring SWMS and OHS compliance with all structural trades (Steel, concrete, formwork)
• Undertaking weekly safety walks and closeout of items, compliance with safety procedures
• Pre-pour inspections Daily pre-starts with subcontractors, sequencing - 2 week look ahead programmes
• Understanding of Aconex Software
