Job summary

NSW Health in Sydney is seeking an Associate Director Workplace Relations to provide high level advice on workplace relations for the Ministry of Health and related agencies. This is an ongoing full-time role designed to support NSW Health's workplace relations objectives and deliver expert guidance.

The role will lead complex projects, partner with senior leaders to resolve issues, and represent NSW Health in forums to achieve favourable outcomes. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in analysis and management of major industrial relations situations and projects.
• Significant knowledge of State and Federal industrial systems and policies.
• Experience in complex and sensitive negotiations before Industrial Commissions and courts/tribunals.
• Experience in policy research, development, review and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert workplace relations advice on complex industrial matters across NSW Health.
• Lead workplace relations projects and evaluate policy initiatives to support strategic workforce outcomes.
• Partner with senior leaders to resolve industrial issues and promote consistent practices.
• Represent NSW Health in various forums to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Build strong stakeholder partnerships across the health system and government sector.
