Job summary

Royal Rehab is seeking a Workplace Relations Specialist to shape fair, compliant employment practices across the organisation. You will partner with People & Culture, advise on modern awards, enterprise agreements, investigations, and compliance, and help manage risks.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and a deep understanding of Australian workplace laws. A hybrid work model in Sydney supports flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Law or Employment/Industrial relations or equivalent experience.
• Experience in workplace relations within healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act and modern awards.
• Experience with enterprise bargaining and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist workplace relations advice on awards, agreements, and legislation.
• Manage complex workplace matters including grievances and investigations.
• Support bargaining, union engagement, and documentation of agreements.
• Identify risks and implement improvements to policies and processes.
• Deliver practical training and guidance to leaders on employment matters.
