Job summary

NSW Ministry of Health in Sydney seeks an Associate Director Workplace Relations to provide high-level guidance on complex industrial matters across NSW Health. You will lead projects, evaluate policy initiatives, and partner with senior leaders to resolve issues, promoting consistent workplace relations practices.

This role requires extensive experience in industrial relations, policy development, and negotiation, with a track record of delivering solutions in a diverse health system.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in analysis and management of major industrial relations in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Extensive knowledge of State and Federal industrial systems and application of policies.
• Experience in negotiations including financial implications and advocating before tribunals.
• Experience in policy research, development, review and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert workplace relations advice on complex matters across NSW Health.
• Lead workplace relations projects and evaluate policy initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to resolve industrial issues and promote consistent practices.
• Represent NSW Health in forums to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Build stakeholder partnerships across health and government sectors.
