Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking a highly organised Workforce Planner to join our operations team in Sydney. You will ensure the right people with the right skills are in the right place at the right time, delivering compliant, efficient operations across a complex 24/7 environment.

You will build and cost forward rosters, manage leave, oversee payroll readiness and partner with operational leaders to optimise workforce performance. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning and rostering.
• Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Payroll impacts awareness and compliance.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Stakeholder management and clear communication.
• Experience with a Workforce Management platform.

Responsibilities

• Build, cost and publish accurate forward rosters.
• Ensure compliance with Awards, Enterprise Agreements, fatigue management and licensing.
• Manage leave planning and workforce availability.
• Minimise overtime and unrecovered labour costs.
• Prepare payroll-related activities and reports.
• Produce workforce planning and operational performance reports.
• Collaborate with Site Managers, Client Services Managers, Operations leaders and Payroll teams to ensure service continuity.
