Job summary

Securitas Australia is seeking a Workforce Planner to optimise the workforce across multiple sites. You will oversee forward rostering, shift coverage, and utilisation to meet operational needs while maintaining accurate Live Rosters and compliance information.

You will work with Operations, Recruitment, HR and Account Management to align staffing with demand, while identifying risks and improving rostering processes. The role operates standard business hours in VIC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate forward rosters across allocated sites and accounts.
• Review upcoming workforce requirements and identify potential staffing gaps.
• Forecast workforce requirements based on operational demand, leave, vacancies, attrition and upcoming changes.
• Identify future workforce risks and develop strategies to address them before they impact operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date rosters, ensuring employees are allocated to shifts appropriate to their availability, qualifications, training and licence requirements.
• Monitor roster coverage, address vacancies and coordinate replacement coverage for planned absences.
• Ensure roster changes are reflected in the Live Roster and reconcile rostering systems with operations.
• Monitor current and upcoming vacancies and ad hoc works, coordinating coverage with available workforce.
• Prioritise available casual and relief resources and identify under-utilised staff for better utilisation.
• Monitor overtime usage and identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary overtime.
• Monitor compliance requirements and licence/training expiries; ensure staff meet standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance, KAMs and HR to resolve readiness issues.
• Provide data insights to management and support continuous improvement in workforce analytics.
