Box Hill Institute in Melbourne is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to shape candidate experiences and lead proactive recruitment. You’ll own the end-to-end journey, design campaigns and partner with hiring managers to raise hiring standards across the Institute.

This newly created role offers flexible work options, on-site parking and generous leave, with real opportunities to influence onboarding and workforce planning while upholding child safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Human Resources is preferred but not essential.
• A current and valid Working with Children Check.
• A satisfactory National Police Check.
• The ability to work across Box Hill Institute campuses and other locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment journey, from attraction to appointment.
• Help bring our new recruitment strategy to life and move us beyond reactive hiring.
• Partner with and coach hiring managers to make better hiring decisions.
• Create recruitment campaigns and advertising that attract the right talent.
• Champion fair, consistent and effective selection.
• Deliver a candidate experience that’s timely, human and professional.
• Strengthen onboarding and help new starters get off to a great start.
• Challenge the status quo and find smarter, better ways to recruit.
