Qualifications

• Background in electronics device design and development.
• Advanced sourcing activities including commodity management.
• Early supplier engagement before product/engineering requirements.
• Experience with value or total cost of ownership (TCO) work at component/product level.
• Familiarity with high-tech products in high-mix, low-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection using approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development.
• Scope concepts and solidify requirements.
• Model total cost of ownership and trade-offs.
• Lead design collaboration with clear statements of work.
• Drive cost engineering and BOM convergence across lifecycle.
