Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Supplier Engineering Manager to drive strategic supply network development and cost management across product lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams including engineering, quality and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes development of sourcing strategies, BOM consolidation, NPI procurement, and cost engineering to optimize total cost of ownership across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

Background in mechanical or electronics device design.
Experience in advanced sourcing and supplier development.
Early supplier engagement with product/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier selection using approved supplier list.
Develop sourcing strategy with market knowledge and cost plans.
Consolidate manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing teams.
Oversee NPI component procurement and on-time delivery.
Manage CAPEX verification for supplier aspects.
Drive value-stream mapping to optimize lead times and flexibility.
Reduce supply chain complexity through part and supplier rationalisation.
Lead cost engineering to converge to product cost and TCO.
