Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Supplier Engineering Manager to lead strategic supply network development and cost management across product lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to drive early engagement, design for cost, and achieve target TCO.

From concept scoping to BOM consolidation and NPI procurement, you will shape sourcing strategies, manage CAPEX, and push toward scalable production with high flexibility.

Qualifications

• Background in electronics design and development.
• Experience with advanced sourcing and commodity management.
• Early supplier engagement before product realization.
• Value or procurement engineering at component or product level.
• Ability to work in high-tech, high-mix/low-volume environments.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; NV1 clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection using approved supplier lists.
• Collaborate with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development.
• Define concepts, trade-offs, and total cost of ownership models.
• Develop joint design through clear statements of work.
• Simulate mechanical and electronics designs with suppliers.
• Drive commercial and sourcing strategy for efficiency and cost.
• Consolidate BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production.
• Oversee NPI component procurement for on-time production.
• Manage CAPEX verification with stakeholders during NPI.
• Value-stream map to optimize lead time and flexibility.
• Complete BOM risk assessments and per-part analysis.
