Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Supplier Engineering Manager in Australia to lead strategic supply network development and cost management across lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams in engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

You will drive sourcing strategies, component qualification, BOM consolidation, and cost engineering to optimize TCO and enable scalable production with high flexibility.

Qualifications

• Design & development of mechanical and/or electronics devices.
• Advanced sourcing activities including commodity sourcing management.
• Early supplier engagement ahead of product/engineering requirements.
• Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO at component/product level.
• Experience with high-tech products in high-mix, low-volume environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or related technical field.
• Must be eligible to obtain an Australian NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct supplier selection for products using an approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development.
• Develop sourcing strategies with market knowledge and cost principles.
• Drive BOM consolidation with Quality & Manufacturing to ramp production.
• Ensure on-time, accurate NPIs and component qualifications.
• Reduce supply chain complexity via standardization and supplier rationalisation.
• Lead cost engineering to converge to product cost and total cost of ownership.
