Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking a Sales Planner to operate in a fast-paced, data-driven sales environment. You will provide critical insights at state and national levels to guide decisions, report on monthly performance, and forecast sales, collaborating with multiple business units and leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in sales or demand planning, strong Excel/Power BI/SQL skills, and a proactive approach to solving complex problems while communicating effectively with diverse

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in sales planning, demand planning, or a similar analytical role, preferably within engineering, manufacturing, or technical product environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI and SQL.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and take initiative to resolve issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflicting priorities and stakeholders.
• A background in Demand Planning or Sales Analysis would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing the annual sales budget for each business unit.
• Analyzing internal sales results and trends, as well as external market influences and trends.
• Preparing and distributing monthly and ad hoc sales and market performance reports.
• Preparing sales and product forecasts by coordinating with different levels of the business.
