Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking a proactive Sales Planner to operate in a fast-paced, data-informed environment. You will support strategic decisions by developing budgets, analyzing sales trends, and delivering regular performance reports at state and national levels.

Reporting to the GM – Strategy and Sales Planning, you will coordinate forecasts across business units and drive data-driven insights to optimise pricing and product mix.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in sales planning, demand planning, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
• Problem-Solving skills to analyse data and resolve issues.
• Strong communication to manage priorities with stakeholders.
• Background in Demand Planning or Sales Analysis would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual sales budget for each business unit.
• Analyze internal sales results and trends, plus external market influences.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc sales and market performance reports.
• Prepare sales and product forecasts coordinating with different levels of the business.
