Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking a technical support professional to back the Sales team in selecting HVAC products and developing quotes for projects and tenders. Reporting to the State Manager SA, you will review specifications, prepare pricing, and provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams.

You will engage with customers to maintain relationships, assist with project calls, and ensure timely, accurate quotes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or HVAC trade qualification.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical plans and tender specifications.
• Experience in HVAC sales, engineering or consultancy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Review project and product specifications, select product, and provide quotes within relevant time frames and other project parameters to customers.
• Prepare preliminary solutions and pricing on products as requested by internal or external customers.
• Provide product information - including data and brochures - and guidance on technical queries to internal and external customers.
• Maintain appropriate customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist Sales staff with project-related calls to/from customers when required.
