Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking a detail-oriented Planning professional to develop and manage the annual sales budget for each business unit. You will analyse internal sales results and external market trends to produce monthly and ad-hoc reports, and coordinate with stakeholders to prepare accurate sales and product forecasts.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, strong Excel/PowerBI/SQL skills, and effective communication to align priorities across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Planning, ideally within engineering or technical product sectors.
• Strong exposure to Excel, PowerBI & SQL.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and take initiative to resolve issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflicting priorities with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing the annual sales budget for each business unit.
• Analysing internal sales results and trends, as well as external market influences and trends.
• Creating and submitting monthly and ad-hoc market and sales reports.
• Preparing sales and product forecasts by coordinating with different levels of the business.
