Job summary

HCF is seeking a Risk Advisory and Oversight Manager on a 12-month max term contract to partner with Executives and senior leaders, embedding the Risk Management Framework and uplifting risk maturity across the organisation.

This highly collaborative role will build relationships, facilitate meaningful risk conversations and support risk profiling, policy reviews and Board reporting while aligning with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a risk advisory, risk consulting or Line 2 risk role.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical judgement and problem-solving.
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements in a practical context.
• Collaborative approach with proven relationship-building.
• Ownership, accountability and delivery focus.
• Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience in an APRA-regulated environment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Executives and senior leaders to provide trusted risk advice.
• Embed and continuously improve HCF's Risk Management Framework.
• Facilitate risk workshops and promote a positive risk culture.
• Manage divisional risk profiles and risk registers.
• Support incident management and remediation activities.
• Contribute to risk analysis, reporting and insights for committees.
• Review and maintain key risk policies and documentation.
• Collaborate across the organisation to improve risk management outcomes.
