Job summary

North West Hospital and Health Service in Queensland is seeking a Manager Medical Workforce Unit to provide strategic and operational leadership for medical workforce services across the region. You will oversee medical recruitment, onboarding, credentialing and workforce operations, and work with the Executive Team on policies and initiatives.

You will drive workforce planning, recruitment campaigns and service improvements to strengthen attraction, retention and engagement of medical staff.

Qualifications

• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence is required.
• Pre-employment screening including Criminal History checks will be conducted.
• Vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Medical Workforce Unit.
• Oversee medical recruitment, onboarding, credentialing and workforce operations across the service.
• Advise the Executive Team on medical workforce initiatives, risks and policies.
• Drive workforce planning, recruitment campaigns and service improvement initiatives.
