North West Hospital and Health Service in Mount Isa is seeking a Manager Medical Workforce Unit to provide strategic and operational leadership for medical workforce services across the North West HHS.

You will lead recruitment, onboarding, credentialing and workforce operations, while advising the Executive Team on workforce initiatives, risks and policies. A probation period may apply and vaccination status may be required.

Qualifications

• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
• Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
• This is a risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
• A period of probation may apply.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Medical Workforce Unit and oversee all aspects of medical recruitment, onboarding, credentialing and workforce operations.
• Provide expert strategic advice to the Executive Team and Chief Executive on medical workforce initiatives, risks, policies and emerging workforce trends.
• Drive workforce planning, recruitment campaigns and service improvement initiatives to strengthen medical attraction, retention and engagement outcomes.
