Nillumbik Shire Council in Greensborough VIC is seeking a Coordinator Community Development and Learning. This permanent full-time role provides strategic and operational leadership across council's community development, learning and facility services.

You will oversee programs including Living & Learning Nillumbik and community facilities, building strong partnerships with education providers, government agencies and local organisations to enhance wellbeing, participation and lifelong learning

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Community Development, Community Services, Social Sciences, Education, Management or related discipline.
• Substantial relevant experience in community-focused services.
• Experience leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in strategic planning, service development and improvement.
• Knowledge of budgets, funding and governance in community services.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for community development and learning services.
• Oversee Living & Learning Nillumbik, neighbourhood houses and hub facilities.
• Build partnerships with community groups, education providers and government agencies.
• Lead planning and activation of community facilities to maximise benefit.
• Ensure sound financial management and responsible resource use.
• Identify and respond to emerging community needs and opportunities.
