Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling is seeking an HR Business Partner based in Laverton, Victoria, to partner with leaders across the business, improve workforce performance, build leadership capability and deliver practical people solutions.

This true generalist HR Business Partner role will work with leaders to solve workforce challenges, strengthen leadership capability and deliver people initiatives that support business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory role.
• Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive people and business outcomes.
• Experience managing complex employee and industrial relations matters in a unionised environment, including hands‑on experience participating in Enterprise Agreement negotiations and negotiation planning.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment and industrial relations legislation.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance operational, people and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting blue‑collar, industrial or operational workforces will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to improve workforce performance and capability.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee engagement and people leadership.
• Provide practical advice across the full employee lifecycle.
• Lead complex employee and industrial relations matters.
• Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build productive relationships with leaders, employees and union representatives.
• Use workforce insights to identify risks and improve business outcomes.
• Deliver HR projects and people initiatives that support business priorities.
