Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling in Laverton, Victoria, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with site and senior leaders to improve workforce performance and leadership capability. You will manage employee relations, provide practical people solutions across the full lifecycle, and support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives in a unionised environment.

This permanent, full-time role offers career development and a strong safety culture within a nationwide steel

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Business Partner or senior HR advisor.
• Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive outcomes.
• Experience handling complex ER matters in a unionised environment, including EA negotiations.
• Solid knowledge of Australian employment and industrial relations law.
• Good commercial judgement balancing operations, people and compliance.
• Experience supporting blue-collar, industrial or operational workforces is a plus.

Based in Laverton, Victoria and reporting to the National HR Manager, you’ll partner with leaders across the InfraBuild Recycling business to improve workforce performance, build leadership capability and deliver practical people solutions.

This is a true generalist HR Business Partner role. You’ll work alongside leaders to solve workforce challenges, strengthen leadership capability, manage employee and industrial relations matters, and deliver people initiatives that support business outcomes.

What you will be doing:

What you will bring:

• Experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory role
• Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive people and business outcomes
• Demonstrated experience managing complex employee and industrial relations matters in a unionised environment, including hands‑on experience participating in Enterprise Agreement negotiations and negotiation planning
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment and industrial relations legislation
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance operational, people and compliance requirements
• Experience supporting blue‑collar, industrial or operational workforces will be highly regarded
